The Sun Prairie Public Library Board is made up of nine members appointed by the Mayor of the City of Sun Prairie and confirmed by the Sun Prairie City Council to serve three-year terms. One member shall represent the municipal governing body and one member shall be a Sun Prairie Area School District (SPASD) administrator or designee, appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council to represent SPASD. Appointed community members serve three-year terms. The Sun Prairie Public Library Board appoints two non-voting student members, one student to serve a one-year term and one student to serve a two-year term. Appointed students may apply for a second term.
