Community Advisory Committee Application

The Sun Prairie Public Library is seeking the input and advice of Sun Prairie’s diverse community members to assist in advancing the library’s goals through the lens of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

The SPPL Community Advisory Committee is scheduled to meet every other month. This is a one-year voluntary position running January-December 2025, and is not a Library Board position.

Requirements: Must be at least 14 years of age and have a connection to the Sun Prairie Community. Volunteers are required to fill out the volunteer application and waiver, which will be provided during the onboarding process.

Meetings

If selected to serve on the committee, can you commit to the majority of meeting times and dates? The committee meets every other month in person at the Sun Prairie Public Library with a virtual option on the following Mondays from 7:45-8:45am. January 13, March 17, May 19, July 28, September 22, and November 17.
